He married the love of his life Barbara (nee: Brown) on September 16, 1972 and they shared 46 wonderful years together. Ron was employed as a car salesman for many years and enjoyed working with people. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Barb, Ron is survived by his children: Jennifer (Jason) Kooiker of Grand Rapids; grandchildren: Aiden and Nathan; sister-in-law Nancy (the late Richard) Brown of Livonia; niece Amy Brown of Plymouth; nephews Brian (Laurie) Brown of Commerce Township and Brad (Cheryl) Brown of White Lake; great nieces and nephews: Ryanne, Dylan, Zachary and Madison. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Ruth Roloff. A visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday May 12th at O’Brien Eggebeen Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd SE Grand Rapids MI 49546 where a funeral service will take place at 4 pm also on Sunday with Pastor David Behling officiating.
